Club of Breeders of Schnauzers
Breeding regulations is for breeding management all sizes and colors of breed and create conditions to permanent increasing quality of breeding work KCHPB in terms of standard of FCI 181, 182, 183.
Breeding regulations is obligatory to all owners of males/females which are in breeding process in Slovakia. For compliance are responsible breeders and breeding adviser. Production pupies without pedigree is incompatible with mission SKJ, breeder ethics, provisions of this Breeding Regulations and will be considered like a violation, with disciplinary penalty. Commission puppy sales is prohibited.
Schnauzer, within the meaning of this Breeding Regulations, represent purebred dogs and females with valid pedigree issued by a member or affiliates of the herd books FCI.
Participation in two shows organized by KCHPB in Slovakia in the intermediate, open, working or champion class.
DNA genetic testing is mandatory for all schnauzers.
Each owner will obtain the samples from their veterinarian. The breeding advisor will send a club application upon request.
For miniature schnauzers at mating, one of the breeding pair must have a MAC N /N test.
Eye examination for PRA, LL, C – so far only informative (for miniature schnauzers).
In standard schnauzers and giant schnauzers, an X-ray of hip dysplasia is required.

After completing the above conditions, owner send pedigree (original), both description lists (standard schnauzer and giant schnauzers HD results) to appropriate breeding advisor. Breeding advisor processes all documents and in turn send back to owner.
The upper limit of age use females in breeding is 8 years old Over this limit can breeding advisor grant an reasoned exemption. Stud dog has unlimited breeding.
Females can have little 1 per year. Number of puppies left to female is unlimited.
Schnauzer in another color like his/her parents is possible mate only with schnauzer which have 3 generation in pedigree same color like is he/she.
Mating may be made exclusively on the basis of breeding licence issued by the competent breeding advisor. Breeding licence must be issued even if both breeding pair belong to one owner.
Use of borrowed dogs in the breeding is subject to the age limit of this Breeding Regulation.
Mating female with two stud males trought one seasson is prohibited. Puppies from this connection not be write to Slovak stud book (SPKP).
